Description of Enhancement

In our academic institution, we are four employees working with the report designer. All of us have created reports with planning automation. All these planing schedules are only accessible by the user who created them.

Issues Enhancement Will Resolve

Even if we have the maximum permission for the analytical module, we realize that we don't have access to the planning of the reports that are created by others: we can only modify the planning of our own reports. There are also other problems whit this :

  • It is impossible to see when or how often a specific report ("own" by someone else) is run
  • If there are problems in rolling these reports, it is impossible to consult the history and list the successes and failures
  • finally, if someone in our department leaves for a certain period of of long time (or definitely), we cannot access the planning of those reports that were setup by this person (will they roll as a reminder of that person?)

Current Workaround

At this time, the only workaround would be to create a user and use it to create and plan all those reports.

Totally agree. It is a good practice to manage reports and scheduling using a team-centric approach rather than individual-centric. Individuals come and and go and retire ; teams remain. Thank you for fast tracking this.
